Carrie Oeding is the author of two collections of poetry, If I Could Give You A Line, (U of Akron Press) and Our List of Solutions (42 Miles Press). Her work has appeared in such places as Denver Quarterly, DIAGRAM, New Delta Review, Colorado Review, Miracle Monocle, Pleiades, Sixth Finch, and Bennington Review. She is the recipient of the Rhode Island Council on the Arts' Fellowship in Poetry.
Carrie has taught for more than twenty years, including as an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at Marshall University, before moving to New England. She currently works in the Teaching and Learning Technologies department as a Learning Designer at Providence College in Providence, RI. She grew up on a family farm in southwestern Minnesota and lives with her husband and daughter in Rhode Island.
